"A good preparation is half the battle", 50 pupils of the graduating classes of the Plochinger Gymnasium thought and visited the study day on 04 July 2019. They wanted to obtain information, tips and tricks before starting their training or studies. In the context of the action week Geodesy also that Hemminger Ingenieurbürotook part in the meeting. Three of our trainees took up the challenge and reported on the stage about the two possible training occupations surveying technician and geomatics technician. It is also possible, for example, to spend a practical semester with us or to gain work experience with us during your studies. Again and again, our trainees brought in their own experiences and impressions from their daily work.
In addition to thisHemminger Ingenieurbüro, ambassadors for studies and training also presented their professions and fields of study. The interaction with the audience played an important role. Questions were regularly thrown into the pupils' group and called for reflection.
Thanks to the speakers, with whom the pupils identified well, the event was characterised by a relaxed atmosphere and humour. The stage programme was followed by talks and practical exercises in individual classrooms until 16:15. In the classroom of the Hemminger engineering office, visitors took a closer look at the tachymeter and M6 trolley. Through demonstrations and their own testing, they were able to form an impression of the work with the instruments.
Geodesy offers exciting career opportunities that unfortunately far too few know. Therefore we support Action week Geodesy. We hope that we were able to draw the attention of as many young people as possible to this professional field with our participation in the study day.
