The topic of BIM data "on the fly" with the smartphone app convinced the jury: Smart Data Factory as developer and that Hemminger Ingenieurbüro as user were awarded the BIM Award 2018 (category craftsmen / SMEs).
A total of seven prizes were awarded, including research and teaching. With participants from a wide range of industries as well as representatives of the press, the event organised by the BIM Cluster Stuttgart in the House of Architects was very well attended. "The association wants to serve as a platform through which the players in the state can exchange ideas and network," said Alexander Kuhn, Chairman of the Board of BIM CLUSTER Baden-Württemberg at the awards ceremony.
The Competition BIM Award 2018 awards projects that demonstrate the added value and potential of the BIM method in the digital-based cooperation and action – whether in corporate cooperations or scientific networks. The regular meetings give companies the opportunity to establish contacts with other industry pioneers, exchange experiences and even develop new ideas together.
