The subject of BIM data "on the fly" with the smartphone app convinced the jury: Smart Data Factory as a developer and the Hemminger Ingenieurbüro as a user were awarded the BIM Award 2018 (category Artisan/SME).
A total of seven prizes were awarded, among them research and teaching. The event organised by the BIM Cluster Stuttgart in the House of architects was very well attended by participants from a wide variety of industries and representatives of the press. "The association wants to serve as a platform through which the players in the country can exchange and network," said Alexander Kuhn, chairman of the Board of the BIM Cluster Baden-Württemberg on the occasion of the award ceremony.
The Competition BIM Award 2018 awards projects that demonstrate the added value and potential of the BIM method in the digital-based cooperation and action – whether in corporate cooperations or scientific networks. The regular meetings give companies the opportunity to establish contacts with other industry pioneers, exchange experiences and even develop new ideas together.
