In the "Digiscouts 2018" project and competition run by the RKW Competence Centre, our trainees took second place.
The idea of "Digiscouts" is to put a hat on the heads of trainees when it comes to digitisation in companies. For six months, the "Digital Natives", who take digitization as a matter of course in their everyday lives, will look at potential in the company. They have every freedom to criticize the current situation and to make suggestions for improvement from their point of view.
After a general company check, our trainees Sarah Libich and Dominik Jehle found out that most of our processes run on the digital level. Following the motto "by trainees for trainees", they decided to embed a trainee area in our intranet for themselves and all future trainees. For a quick orientation, to the point, with a fresh design, all important information about the training should be stored here. A trainee chat will ensure optimal interaction between the trainees.
At the closing event on 15 December at ECONVENT in Esslingen, all eight teams, including trainees from the Jesinger car dealership and the Eberspächer Group, presented their project results. Impressed by the ideas and the confident approach of the trainees, the audience finally chose the winners. The key question was which project would inspire the most to be implemented in the company.
