Innovative spirit and versatility characterized the WÜRTH INGENIEURWERKSTATT on 04 April 2019. The managing director Mr. Christoph Wintrup Hemminger Ingenieurbürowas invited as speaker to the event with the motto "Innovation in detail".

At the beginning, the current Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation, Mr. Reinhold Würth, made clear in his impressive lecture what a central role people play in the success of the company. Using various examples, he showed how important it is to treat each other with respect and appreciation. The most important thing would be the small gestures. The WÜRTH family business, which has grown to 77,000 employees in the meantime, has always focused on a living corporate culture, and this will not change in the future, emphasized Mr. Würth.

Mr. Wintrup from Hemminger IngenieurbüroPlanen und Beraten GmbH Stuttgart and Mr. Blessing from Planen und Beraten GmbH presented further lectures to a very interested audience. Both lectured on the subject of "Digital Building". Mr. Wintrup showed the visitors the advantages of a digital building twin. Real - digital - real, these are the building blocks of the process, says Mr Wintrup. He demonstrated applications using various examples: From linking to website content or the online shop to "looking behind the ceiling" and live tracking of objects. The managing director's memorable conclusion: Building 4.0 will be built twice. First digital, then real.

At the subsequent practical workshops and at the trade fair, visitors were able to experience and feel the topics surrounding "Innovation in Detail".

The high speed of innovation in research and development has become tangible in the INGENIEURWERKSTATT. But also how important it is to always focus on the human being.
