Last week, the HI Group was part of a special industry event: the Expert meeting Smart Buildings Of Siemens. Together with experts from the fields of technology, planning, digitalization and energy efficiency, we discussed the latest developments in the field of smart building technologies - and took away some exciting ideas.
What are smart buildings actually?
The term Smart Building describes buildings that are operated more efficiently, safely, comfortably and sustainably with the help of state-of-the-art technologies. Intelligent sensor technology, automated control systems, real-time data analysis and integrated energy management solutions make it possible for buildings to think for themselves - and adapt dynamically to their users and environmental conditions.
