On July 10, 2026, the first meeting of the newly established sounding board took place at the Esslingen District Office. Representing Hemmingen was the managing director Thomas Nußbaum is participating in the exchange. The committee brings together representatives from companies, associations, local governments, and the construction and real estate industries. It will provide guidance to the initiative on a semi-annual basis and offer practical feedback on existing processes and planned measures.

Practical Issues Discussed at the First Client Dialogue

A week later, Bernd Vaas took part in the event on behalf of Hemminger First Developer Dialogue of the Esslingen District part. The event was aimed specifically at commercial developers as well as architecture and planning firms. It focused on common questions regarding the building permit application process, typical sources of error, and direct interaction with building department staff.
