The motto of the competition is more significant than ever: "Healthy medium-sized businesses - Strong economy - More jobs".
The Hemminger Ingenieurbüro was nominated for the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" 2018.
The nomination for this competition, for which you cannot apply yourself, is considered an admission ticket to the "Network of the Best". After all, as Germany's only business prize, the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" does not just look at numbers, innovations or jobs, but at the company as a whole and in its complex role in society.
"The 'Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses' is a figurehead for the prestigious brand 'Made in Germany'", said Albrecht Gerber, Minister of Economics and Energy of Brandenburg. And Barbara Stamm, President of the Bavarian State Parliament, praised: "Whoever was nominated here has already received a first-class award through this selection alone". "The prize awarded by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation is the most coveted business award in Germany," wrote the newspaper WELT. In 2008 and 2016, the foundation was honoured with the Federal Cross of Merit and in 2015 with the Company Change Award.
The nomination is a big compliment for the Hemminger Ingenieurbüro. Until April 2018, the company now has time to compile meaningful documents and submit them online. An independent jury will then make the selection of the winners and finalists.
