A challenge with a very special charm: Since December 2019, the Hemminger Ingenieurbüro has been responsible for the site and building inventory of the OTTO quarter in Wendlingen.
Historic industrial buildings, some of which are listed, are being transformed into an urban quarter. The plans envisage a combination of culture and sustainable jobs and living space.
Our services range from the aerial survey of the site to the preparation of the topography plan and the scanning and modelling of the historic buildings.
The building stock of the former Württemberg spinning and weaving empire Heinrich Otto & Söhne tells the story of architecture and industrial history. Particularly noteworthy is the imposing boiler and turbine house - a landmark of the town of Wendlingen.
